Formed in 2009, with the aim of providing comprehensive business tax and management accounting solutions for small companies, sole traders and self employed professionals, we have expanded from just 15 clients to more than one hundred today.

We deliver individually tailored services to a combination of sole trader, partnership and limited companies across Manchester and Salford.

As well as this, we have a strong vision for future growth as we add the provision of auditing, business consultancy and outsourcing to our portfolio of services.

With more than twenty five years’ experience within financial and business management sector, Chartered Management Accountant, Mish Liyanage, has all the necessary expertise and aspiration to take his Company to the next level.  As the founder of MCC Accountants, Mish is confident of his Company’s values and progression.  “From our inception in 2009 and working with only 15 clients, we now work with more than 125.” he said.  “Solid performance and a high level of client service will strengthen our position as one of the North West’s leading Accountancy firms.”

Being a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with an MBA in strategic management and business process management, Mish commenced his career at global giant, Ernst and Young, and has developed substantial knowledge as a chartered management accountant and financial director, working across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors including property, manufacturing, banking, recruitment, consultancy and the service sector.

Specialising in management accounting, budgetary control, cash flow management, business planning and property related taxation, Mish’s varied and comprehensive financial experience has served him well.  Absolute clarity and a thorough understanding of the legislative process, sustainable planning and accurate forecasting has enabled an exceptional level of communication with financial institutions, investors and local authorities, facilitating success in both implementing and attaining targets.

A senior accountant for MCC Accountants, with responsibility for performing a full range of accountancy and tax -based services, there is little doubt that Robert Flint’s commitment and client contribution has enhanced the Company’s reputation and influenced its growth.  “MCC is enjoying remarkable progression.” he explains.  “This is chiefly due to our skills and experience, but most importantly, we will always put our client’s needs first.”

With a degree in civil engineering from the University of Salford and a wealth of operational and management expertise, Rob’s career has spanned more than seventeen years across a number of sectors, including retail, services, warehousing, storage and distribution.  He has also formed part of the management team at a FTSE 250 Company.  This variety of experience has permitted Rob a unique understanding of the complete business process, enabling him to achieve significant business improvement through efficiency drives, process development and their strategic implementation.

Niki Savelio



Niki has several years’ experience in business and finance covering various industries and clients. He has a keen interest in accountancy and taxation services and is more than capable in assisting you with all your accounting needs with the patience, professionalism and understanding to ensure your business success.

With a degree in Business Studies, AAT qualification and current ACCA membership working towards the chartered accountancy qualification, Niki is consistently looking to grow and learn for all client types with the aim to provide high quality customer service.

In his spare time Niki enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, spending time with family and friends and taking the opportunity travel when possible.

Natasha has only recently started her career in the sector, but has a keen interest in accounting and is quickly expanding her knowledge. She is currently being introduced to taxation services.

She is highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, has extensive administrative knowledge and has a personable telephone manner.

Her responsibilities at Mistoria and MCC Accountants include:

  • Managing the reception
  • Helping Sarah and Mish with work
  • Using Microsoft Excel to complete spreadsheets for use throughout the company
  • Organising receipts when bank statements come through
  • Monthly phone bills

When she’s not at work, Natasha enjoys spending time with her partner and family.

Working towards the Level 3 AAT qualification

Thaila’s role involves assisting both Rob and Sarah in doing a variety of bookkeeping tasks such as balancing accounts, preparing spreadsheets and processing invoices. Thaila is eager to learn and develop her skills so she can understand how the profession really works. In the future she hopes to continue her studies, gaining lots of qualifications along the way so she can earn a position high up at MCC.

Thaila’s main skills are:

  • Organisation and time management skills
  • A methodical approach to all tasks, paying great attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft programmes and accounting software’s efficiently
  • Natural ability working with numbers

When Thaila isn’t working or studying, she enjoys travelling and attending music festivals and spends a lot of her spare time caring for and competing her two horses.

Jordan Brennan

Jordan is studying AAT Level 3 alongside his job through an apprenticeship scheme. Jordan has plans to hopefully progress through the many levels of the accounting career path to one day complete his ACCA and become a fully qualified chartered accountant.

In his spare time Jordan is always trying to learn new information, socialising with friends, has a keen interest in watching sports and enjoys keeping fit.
