MCC Accountants are a well established chartered accountancy practice based in the North West. Formed in 2009, with the aim of providing comprehensive business tax and management accounting solutions for small companies, sole traders and self employed professionals, we have expanded from just 15 clients to more than one hundred today.

We deliver individually tailored services to a combination of sole trader, partnership and limited companies across Manchester and Salford.

As well as this, we have a strong vision for future growth as we add the provision of auditing, business consultancy and outsourcing to our portfolio of services.

With more than twenty five years’ experience within financial and business management sector, Chartered Management Accountant, Mish Liyanage, has all the necessary expertise and aspiration to take his Company to the next level.  As the founder of MCC Accountants, Mish is confident of his Company’s values and progression.  “From our inception in 2009 and working with only 15 clients, we now work with more than 125.” he said.  “Solid performance and a high level of client service will strengthen our position as one of the North West’s leading Accountancy firms.”

Being a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with an MBA in strategic management and business process management, Mish commenced his career at global giant, Ernst and Young, and has developed substantial knowledge as a chartered management accountant and financial director, working across a broad spectrum of industries and sectors including property, manufacturing, banking, recruitment, consultancy and the service sector.

Specialising in management accounting, budgetary control, cash flow management, business planning and property related taxation, Mish’s varied and comprehensive financial experience has served him well.  Absolute clarity and a thorough understanding of the legislative process, sustainable planning and accurate forecasting has enabled an exceptional level of communication with financial institutions, investors and local authorities, facilitating success in both implementing and attaining targets.

A senior accountant for MCC Accountants, with responsibility for performing a full range of accountancy and tax -based services, there is little doubt that Robert Flint’s commitment and client contribution has enhanced the Company’s reputation and influenced its growth.  “MCC is enjoying remarkable progression.” he explains.  “This is chiefly due to our skills and experience, but most importantly, we will always put our client’s needs first.”

With a degree in civil engineering from the University of Salford and a wealth of operational and management expertise, Rob’s career has spanned more than seventeen years across a number of sectors, including retail, services, warehousing, storage and distribution.  He has also formed part of the management team at a FTSE 250 Company.  This variety of experience has permitted Rob a unique understanding of the complete business process, enabling him to achieve significant business improvement through efficiency drives, process development and their strategic implementation.

Molly Wood

After completing a BSc in Business and financial management Molly decided to continue her studies, completing an MSc in Accounting and Finance. Whilst studying for her masters at The University of Salford, she contacted MCC Accountants looking for a 3 month placement. Having really enjoyed the time spent at MCC and due to the future growth plans of the business, Molly took the opportunity to start full-time as an Accounts Assistant. Molly thoroughly enjoys problem solving and since starting at MCC, her knowledge and skill base are constantly growing. She is currently looking to expand her knowledge even further by studying to become a qualified accountant, whilst continuing to work full-time.

Outside of work, Molly is a Bolton Wanderers supporter and also plays football for Barrhill Ladies. She enjoys going to the gym, reading and socialising.

Salma Musa

Whilst walking a diverse career path, Salma completed her BA (Hons) in Business Studies and Accounting. After graduating and trying her hand at various occupations Business Administration and Assistant Accounting, Salma decided on a set career path in Accounting and as she works at MCC Accountants is looking to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. At MCC, Salma uses her skills in organising and analysing as well as her experience of working on different platforms to support the senior staff. Going forward, she hopes to progress through the business into a Senior Accountant position.

In her spare time, Salma enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

My role as a receptionist is to answer all incoming calls and deliver support to the rest of the staff in the office. I am new to lettings and I am enjoying learning all about the job. I feel I can gain new skills at Mistoria and I am being supported well by all of the staff.
